Default '96 sc 300 misfire, codes po300, 301, 306

Hi, I just had some work done on my car , and these codes are coming up. I had the main seals replaced ( he dropped the tranny to do the rear) timing belt, water pump, valve cover seal, plugs, wires, dist. cap and rotor. The car runs great, not even a hitch in the idle. The tech took the car on the highway , resetting the codes as he gained speed. It didn't code at speed. But as soon as he stopped and the car idled, they came back. So now the check engine light and trac-off light are on all the time. The check engine light flashes at idle. Any ideas? Thanks

Sounds like the exact problem that I have going on with mine, anybody have an idea on what it could be? Just got my timing belt cam seals and front crank seal done and started missing only at idle. Someone please help!

I've heard O2 sensors cause reacking havock when one goes out.
they are trouble makers, it happened to our GS300.

Could be a number of things but I would check the firing order first. 0300 is a random cylinder misfire and 301 and 306 are cylinders 1 and 6. Maybe wires 1 and 6 got switched. Timing could be off or maybe a vaccum leak or mixed up vaccum line.

Default Found it!

Turns out it was the lower timing gear. It had a series of "teeth" around the pulley, and as it rotates, a sensor reads these teeth and feeds the info to the ecu. Apparently, the tech broke one of these teeth off, and caused a misfire code.
Thanks to everyone for your input.
