Talking 7mgte electronics on sc300 2jzna-t any thoughts??

As the title states I might be planning to use 7mgte electronics ecu, wiring, harness, igniter, resistor pack,etc....into my sc300 proyect. I have a mk3 shell that has been sitting for over 4 years.. just rusting out, ever since I sold the 7mgte engine. The mk3 owes like 700 dlls on DMV fees.

Many Mk3 supra guys have swapped to 2jzge with 7mgte electronics.. so it might work out. I will litteraly get a free turbo ecu, cps,VVti coilpacks, R154 5 speed swap.

The electronics swap will be performed by a friend and my self. My friend is a mechanic and a electronics, wiring freak. I am mechanically inclined so the labor part is covered.

the mods are 440īs,apexi Afc,hks turbo timmer, Garrett Gt35, 3 inch full exaust, TT Metal head gasket I still have to add arpīs and the tt oem pistons courtesy of some other friend.

Any good opinnios will be aprecciated.

This has been discussed a few times before.
It is much easier to sell your stuff and buy a 2jzgte ecu, it plugs right in, needs minimial wiring, and uses a much better maf if you go USDM or a MAP sensor if you go JDM. It has sequential ignition and fuel.

weak points of the 7m ecu are multiplex ignition, the karman vortex maf, none of the body plugs are correct, and batch fire fuel injection.

While it is the best way to go in a mk3, itrs only because you dont have to mess with the body wiring.
On a mk4/SC you will be doing more work to go backwards a generation in technology compared to using a better 2j ecu.
It can be done though, So if you want to give it a try go for it, it will work just fine, but its not the best setup.
You may want to just do the TT headgasket, that is good for alot more than you can make on 440's. TT pistons will just drop your power more.

That was me

The end result will be a lot nicer with a 2jz ecu. If you grab a JDM ecu (aristo or supra), you can use a map sensor and the JDM ecu's run 440's stock. The usdm ecu uses a hotwire maf and runs 550's stock.
So you need the ecu, Map+IAT (JDM) or Maf (USDM), and matching injectors.

You can still enjoy wiring up the ignition harness.
