Default knocking sound when i let the clutch out

when i go to pull out of my driveway and i let clutch out i get this chattering and knocking sound and when i push the clutch in the chattering continues until i rev the motor. it had a clutch replaced 30k miles ago. i dont have any clue on the knocking. i have kept up with service records on ignition system and i use 93 octane.

Possibly the throw out bearing. What kind of clutch was installed?

it sounds like it's your throw out bearing to me. Something is definitely loose in there and needs to be fixed pretty soon.

Check the boot on the cv axle. if it's ripped or open at all it could let the grease on the joint out and let dirt in so when it spins the joint isn't allowed to move as smoothly and could cause a knocking sound when your transmission engages.

I think there is a exhaust hanger that is bolted onto the right side of the trans.
sometimes when your mounts get old or worn, they will allow everything to move vibrate a little.
The hanger can crack, break, or just rattle in general.
usually happens most when moving from a stop cause the motor trans moves around the most then.
worth a quick check it happened to me on one of my autos.

Can you provide pics of where these bolts were loose at? I want to reference it and check it on my SC. I got some type of knock sometimes when I re-engage/disengage my clutch too. After my 1jz swap theres a whole box of unused bolts.. I'm sure one of them belong somewhere. lol

Default big bolts cant miss them...unless your me.

yeah they face down to the ground. for whatever reason they where loose. strange seeing as they should be pretty tight.
