Arrow questions about my sc400-T build

well guys countless hours on here, v-eight, and lextreme but i still have some questions. i have a 93 sc400 i am compliling parts to build a single turbo kit. as a begining step i plan on running an initial 7-8PSI to work the bugs out. i see that the stock fuel system supports 7psi stock and some people use an FMU w/12:1 ratio. ive heard everyone and their mom saying fmu's are a waste of time. i was planning on running the apexi safc but ive been hearing mixed reviews about that also. right now with a goal of 8psi, standalone is out of the question.down the line with a MLS HG, arps, and valve springs i hope to up the psi in the future, but thats getting ahead of myself, right now i need to properly control my a/f ratios with my current set up.

set up:holset H1C, 315cc injectors, 255lph walbro, 3" downpipe,my own custom manifolds, apexi FMIC, xs power 46mm wastegate .55 bar spring(7.2ish psi), hks ssq, 4" turbo inlet with HKS filter, egr delete, PCV valve on both sides w/catch can, -4an feed, -10an drain, oil cooler w/relocation kit. koyo rad with dual 16" fans.

full set of gauges, oil press/temp, boost, wideband, water temp,

thats about it for engine stuff, clean up the engine bay a bit-relocated battery to trunk, abs/trac delete, egr delete

not looking for that never going to work comments, or bashing. if you have a insightful topic related comment or advice i will gladly listen. hopefully stevechumo, carlos and a small handfull of other people who have first hand 1uzfe-T knowledge will chime in.

boost is a bit high for the stock ecu, from what I hear. it's not about the fuel system, it's about the ecu correcting... well.. correctly.
will this be a car that occasionally sees street use, or a strictly track car (ignoring you're from CA, and have to deal with carb)

well i have my ways around the smog, and i have a honda that i will daily drive. but this car will see street use. well the initial 7psi should be able to compensate with a stock ecu, but im looking for a system that can fine tune my set up, is user friendly, and gives me room to grow into a bit, but w/o taking a dive off the deep end into a full standalone right off the bat.

i was just on supramania and seen a guy do a 1uzfeTT build. seems to of had decent luck with maft pro. anyone use this?

Get a Wide-band and if you are not happy with the afr in boost then grab an afc and you can bump up the fuel slightly at WOT.
From what I read you may not need to do that the 1uz runs really rich when you step on it.

You can probably use a VPC or a MAFT pro, but the best would be to get rid of the stock ecu entirely with a MS or standalone.

I used the FMU with a Walbro 255 hp and it worked great at 9 psi. However, I'd say 7-8 psi with a FMU is a must to be safe. Don't run more than 8 psi with FMU. Don't run 315 cc injectors with no piggyback ECU. They'll flood the fuel and cause instable idle. You should run either with FMU without 315 cc injectors, or 315 cc injectors with piggyback ECU and no FMU. Can't run both.

That´s why you didn´t sold me the 315cc injectors you bastard! Lol.
You should install a AEM F-IC 8 piggyback and tune from there. I have the diagrams to install it if you need them.
If I had 315cc injectors I could share you the map too.
Don´t waste on Apexi S-AFC. All your set up would be distorted once the ECU relearns.
