Like the title says. I was driving my car (actually to go jump start my friends dead car) and when I got there I accidentally parked on the wrong side of his car for the battery so I went to start my car up to move it to the other side and got nothing. At first I thought it was the battery but everything else has power and works great. Lights, windows, navigation, everything. When I turn the key everything dims a bit and all I get is one click and no dice.

Starter contacts?
Replace starter all together??

The car always starts, but not always in the same way. Sometimes it starts right up, some time it may growl for a second or two, then you'll hear the starter retract (I'm assuming)

I searched and 99% of the results were a waste of time or did not pertain to this issue
