After nearly two months of waiting, I finally received the JDL catch can. Let me be the first to say what high quality it is. The wait was kinda long but the quality of workmanship is top notch. I had to move the ABS pump from the factory bracket and move it inward. The one they used for test fitment did not have this. After speaking with them again, they wanted me to send it back so they could correct the problem. I was against it. Due to it taking almost 2 months to receive. I decided to make it work. I ran the drain tube down the factory hole under the pump for easy access. I also had to redo all the braided lines with new fittings. Overall a much better and cleaner setup than before. No more wye fittings and this can adds a vacuum intake.
Jim -- not hard.. get the right Catch Can with baffles inside if you want to reroute one line back to the intake infront of the turbo.
Many will put a line from each valve cover to the catch can and there is a filter on the catch can. That basically is catching all the blow by into the can and letting the pressure from the crank case out into the filter.
If you want a better setup , get a real good catch can that has a good baffles design inside. It has a third fitting where you connect a line from the catch can to the turbo intake pipe. It does help in scavenging ... or even pulling pressure out of the crank case. But make sure it is a good catch can that separates the blow by liquid .. that stays into the catch can and only air / pressure is pulled back into the turbo intake or you will be pulling liquid back into your turbo / IC and into the intake which defeats the purpose of the catch can and scavenging ..
-10an line from each valve cover......and a 1/2 NPT to -10an 90 degreee fittings....you will need to tap valve covers out of have a bung welded on. I choose to tap mine because valve covers were already powdercoated.
Used the open end for K&N breather air filter...some people run it to intake on turbo....but I choose to do it this way.

I have "faint" white fumes coming from the filter. I'm going to run a vac line from the catch can to the pcv valve location on the intake next. here is the mod ive done to a cheapo ebay cc.
I am just finishing up my NA-T build and am reading a lot of varied opinions on catch can designs.
I am thinking about going with something that looks like the schematic in the attached image below. Does this make sense?
In this setup, would I remove the PCV valve and then use the vacuum port on the intake manifold for some other purpose? I am guessing I would.
Also, would the catch can be vented? That would seem to defeat the vacuum created by pull from the turbo intake pipe.
In this setup I would have to use a very good catch can so as not to have oil/moisture entering the turbo. Any ideas on a good one (brand/model) for that purpose?
Any help is much appreciated as there is a lot of confusing information out there.
I really want to keep some vacuum to help with scavenging.
