Costs of a swap?
So I found a great condition'd SC300 with a bad motor. I want to go with a 2JZGTE swap in it. The owner is selling the SC for $ 2000.00 plus a newer motor so I can sell 1-motor, 2 transmissions, drive-shaft and differential.
I have a friend with a 2JZGTE for $ 1,800. No leaks. Good condition motor. Looking for a R154 transmission, clutch, flywheel and so on.. but mean while it'll be an AT swap.

Yeah.. I know that the 2JZGTE is a direct swap. Im planning on putting a GTE from a 94 into a 94 SC300. Just wondering what parts I'll need. What driveshaft will I need to make the 2JZGTE work in the 93' SC300, unless its a direct bolt up
My list of costs so far:
2JZGTE Complete - $ 2200.00
225lph Fuel Pump - $ 120.00
Waterpump - $ 135.00
AEM FI/C - $ 560.00
Intercooler + T-Belt -$ 300.00
Radiator Alum $ 250.00
So I'll have powertrain, drivetrain (idk if driveshaft is different), intercooler, going new timing belt, waterpump, radiator, hoses.. I have someone who will tune it free. Am I missing anything?

Step 1. Take 2jzge out of car.
Step 2. Prepare 2jzgte for installation. (Water pump, seals, etc)
Step 3. Remove 2jzge Wiring harness/ECU. Pay to have harness made ($500 average cost), or research and make one yourself.
Step 4. Install 2jzgte on stock a430 transmission. (This means driveshaft, etc are not changed.)
Step 5. Install Wiring harness/GTE ECU and enjoy!
Just swap the engines, everything is the same.
THEN go price up a R154 swap and prepare for that separately later on.
You will have a blast with even the Auto.

I can buy a SC400 with a bad motor for 2K but interior is very clean. The owner is selling it with a bad motor plus another motor. Im wondering if its the same difficulty to swap in a 2JZGTE in a SC400. Im just worried about the harness.

Im worried about the oil sump and having to relocate it using SupraStores $ 500.00 kit, but supposedly the SC400 doesn't have to do that only SC300 cars. True?
