Default Couple Questions/ Problems...

Hey guys,
I've been a member here for a couple months, but I've just been lurking most the of the time and haven't posted much. Anywho, I've got a couple issues with my 95 sc300, was wondering if anybody who had similar issues could give me any input on em' . Not sure if this is the right sub-forum but here goes...

1. I just installed a new JVC headunit, with this harness from Crutchfield http://www.crutchfield.com/p_1207081...ml#details-tab, silly me should have searched the forum for problems and stuff first. I've got this annoying engine noise now that turns into a whine when I accelerate, otherwise it's a loud low-tone hum. Also the stock sub isn't working. Anybody use this harness and have any input into how you fixed it?

2. My check engine light and TRAC off lights are lite up on the dash. Nothing feels any different at all, and there aren't any weird noises. It's come on in the past when I use 87 gas, but I used 93 this tank, and the light just came on out of the blue. Do you guys think it's worth taking to autozone to have them use the code scanner thing?

3. The passenger door handle won't open from the outside. The inside works fine and the locks work fine too. Think the cold and my brother yanking on it this morning could have broken something. Anybody have this problemo before? Did you fix it yourself or take it in somewhere?

Sorry if any of this has been covered before. Thanks for taking the time to read my huge wall of text and for any input. She's my first car so I'm trying to take car of her without much of a budget :P

When it comes to the humming noise, I THINK it has to do something with the ground wire, but I'm not 100% sure.

As far as the TRAC light on, you should see a button next to the seat warmers, that say TRAC Off just click it and that should turn it back on. With the Check Engine Light, go to PepBoys or some place that can pull codes.
