This is for my '95 SC300 A/T Completely Stock. With 150+ pounds worth of crap in the trunk.
R/T -- 1.223 (My first time)
60' -- 2.507
330' -- 7.152
1/8 -- 10.895
MPH -- 67.36
1000 -- 14.078
1/4 -- 16.772
MPH -- 84.75
Any questions, or criticism, go for it.

this poses a question.
In my 96 NA Z with
HKS intake
custom bent 2.25 piping to Tsudo mufflers
SAFC
UR crank pulley
Fidanza flywheel/ACT street clutch
I ran a 15.36 at 92.9 with a bad take off ( my first time too, spun the wheels cuz i ain't burn out good,.... was new to the water thing).
From all the post of stock lexus performance,... I didn't think there would be that much difference in track times.
This car dyno'd 198rwhp/174 ft-lbs of torque?
That seems awfully slow,... but who knows,... you might get better times a second time around.

Automatic
My car is an automatic, so really there is no way to get better ET (phone home) unless I lose some weight or increase power. I didn't spin at all coming off the line. BTW i did win Gotta love racing against a stock 2000 Celica GT. He ran 17.226 @ 80.64. My friend had his NA Supra up there too. He has homemade intake and midas exhaust and MSD and he pulled 14.999, oh yeah...his is a manual

That car should be going 90+ mph. Maybe you have to manhandle it more! :P Of course temp, altitude, humidity all affect this.
Launch style, spinning, etc. don't affect the mph all that much...the trap speed is the best indication of what is going on unless your chassis is really set up properly...then ET can be used as well.
16.70 with an 84 mph speed means you got a pretty decent launch though!

Yeah, but that 150lbs of crap in the trunk is definitely not helping you Steele, especially if you have no traction issues whatsoever. Nazty, isn't this the SC forum?

Other Factors in consideration
"That car should be going 90+ mph. Maybe you have to manhandle it more! :P Of course temp, altitude, humidity all affect this. "
Temperature - 58 F
Relative Humidity - 100
Absolute barometer - 30.41
Altititude - Bowling Green, Ky(don't really know)
Not sure how to manhandle it more. I didn't brake torque it at all, i forgot. I'll try again in a couple weeks, any other suggestions, besides a turbo kit

i took out my hydraulic jack, big heavy ****. and I have to get rid of some other things and I will try again, thanx for not slammin me everybody. I know my car is weak, but it's still a lexus

I ran in Bowling Green
I ran at Beech Bend in Bowling Green. You should come down some weekend. It was my first time even going to a drag strip. Kinda exciting. I could beat like 3 of the cars there. They were, 2001 eclipse, 97ish accord, and the 00 celica. Everything else was mustangs and camaros.

It was the only point of reference I had.... sorry...
no the only reason i brought the Z up, ...was in an earlier thread,... someone was commenting on which cars the Lex's would kill, track times, etc... and the NA 300Z was one of them. Similar weight, similar powerplant,...so it was more or less just a comparison to a similar car,..that's all....and I didn't think it'd be possible to shave 1.4 sec's off with those mods,...so in that I figured his time probably could'a been better. The 98 Maxima I was racing lost all 3 times, and his trap speeds were between 85 and 88 mph with mods....
I need to find a good track near houston to see what the SC400 will do stock before I get on my mods.
