Default injector removal help

I have a 97 sc400 and recently if I let it sit a couple days without driving it, when I start it I smell tons of raw fuel and it runs really rough for a few minutes until the fuel is burned off. I suspect that I have an injector that is leaking down and dripping and flooding the intake. So i'm going to take them out and ultrasonically clean them....however I've been searching and can't find a thread offering any info or advice as to how to remove the fuel rails. Anybody that has done this and can give me some details on the best way to remove them would be AWESOME!

now someone tells me that the ECU capacitors could be going bad causing the same cold start rich conditions and shaking idle. I have no clue where to start...don't wanna start pulling injectors if that is not the problem

At least your ecu gave you a warning. mine just up and died on me...ran fine and when I tried to leave work no spark at all. SC ecus apparently dont have the same build quality as the drivetrain/motor. Try pressure testing to see if the injectors are leaking and flooding the cylinders

Do you get an intermittent hesitation as well sometimes when driving?

It could be a bad ECU, or the injector wires aren't grounding properly to the ECU drivers (short, poor connection, etc) This causes the injectors to stick wide up flooding the cylinder.

When you start the car cold pull each wire individually off the distributors, and see if you have a dead miss anywhere.
