My battery keeps dying
i have notice this issue for the past 3 weeks, whenever my car sits for like a day it has difficulty starting.
1. i put the key in the ignition, nothing...like the battery is dead
2. 2nd turn, i hear a clicking sound, sounds like those old school kids toy guns we use to play wit.
3. 3rd turn, the car does a slow rev, then it gradually fires up.
now for the rest of the week i do not have this problem because i am driving it daily.
there is corrosion on the negitive terminal but i cleaned it up recently. also i have HID's 6k, i notice if i leave my head lights on without the car being on, it kills my battery, even if i have the door open for too long it will do the same thing kill the battery....looking for the gurus to help me diagnose this problem!!!!

drive it up to a autozone or advanced auto parts and have them hook up the diagnostic machine to it... they will tell u if ur starter, alternator or battery is bad.... thats the first thing i would do seeing as its free.

Loosen the negative terminal to where you can pull it off. Start the car and remove the negative cable. If the car stays running the alternator is good. Also when alternators are on thier way out they tend to kill batteries. since the battery sounds like its on its way out, i'd vote new battery then test the alternator.

its the charging problem it come from dynamo if that dosnt work properly it will not charge battery and battery dies when dynamo does not give charge to the engine so engine will take electric directly from ur battery better change the dynamo and see wht u got
