I used to have the exhaust system you are wanting, except 2.25 & all mandrel bent. Result, lost some bottem end torque. Then when I put headers on I lost even more bottom end torque. Have a read @ this thread. There is more than enough info, to make you think about. Ive had (5) SC400's. Did 3 of them with the set up you want. All had the same result. My new set up is perfect.

Oh its gonna sound good. My last exhaust sounded good, but Im sayin your gonna lose some bottom end performance. You will gain alittle on the top, but what you lose @ the 2500 to 4000 range is not worth the 5 to 6 range. If you want to gain & still sound good. Cut the 3rd cat off. Keep the stock Y pipe & run 2.5 single to a rear Y pipe like mine & go 2.5 to (2) 2.25 & use those mufflers. If you go headers later on, you will want to increase the stock Y piping. But it will handle what your doing right now.

Do this Y pipe, cause its way better flowing.

Do this resonator, in place of the 3rd cat, if you wanna keep it nice and deep tone.

I should have bought this one, but I already had $1350 im my exhaust system already.
