Default JDM 2JZGTE guys... what downpipe are you using?

What downpipe works with a stock SC300 muffler system and a JDM 2JZGTE? Do you have to get it custom made or is there someone that sells it?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Supra...item1c076bff30

This is what you need. Bolts right up to the stock SC exhaust as well.

Thanks for the help guys... is that a quality downpipe for those who have seen it? A stock MKIV Supra downpipe will not work then?

It's thin metal but it's works and looks great , the stock supra DP will not work because the flange .
IIRC the supra has a 2 bolt style flange and the Aristo is 3 bolts style flange right of the Turbos.
Supra DP will not work unless you modified it.

double check with what quicksc4 said if the flange matches up you can use a MKIV downpipe and midpipe, the catback on the other hand is different in length IIRC

OK quicksc4 is correct, the flange on the USDM supra is a bit bigger than the JDM. The flange is also clocked at a different angle (probably for clearance of the steering since its RHD)

heres a thread with pics off the differences: http://www.supraforums.com/forum/sho...=1#post3572141

the easiest thing to do would be buy an aristo specific downpipe

your other option is to buy a USDM downpipe and have it modified to fit

The downpipe I linked to is a JDM downpipe. It will work on any JDM 2JZGTE, including an Aristo 2jz which I have. The JDM downpipe flange at the turbos is 3 bolts, but a smaller, different pattern(and probably angle) than the USDM, which is why you can't use the USDM downpipe on a JDM engine.

And as far as quality, it looks and fits great and I think it is a fair price for a nice part. I offered less than the asking price on the auction when I got mine and they took the lower offer just FYI.
