Default 92 sc300 electrical problem

car is a 92 factory 5 speed

I was driving along everything fine, a/c blowing cold, and I clutched in to come to a stop. The engine rested at idle as I was still rolling then all of a sudden it just dies. Engine, everything, except the cel, oil, water, warning lights, but the actual cluster itself was dead. I stop, turn the key off, turn back on, all looks good, it starts, I jump out, it dies, same thing.

After that, all I get is the warning lights but no actual light to the cluster with the key on.

No start, no click.

Without the key in the ignition, I can turn the headlight switch on and get a low buzz and the oil, water, and cel lights come on. same thing with the key on.

Just wondering if this sounds familiar to anyone.

I also have a problem with my cluster on my 95 sc400 . None of the gauges work, and nothing on the gauges it's self lights up but lights like Cruse Control, Trac, etc light up. Also where Time/Outside Temp & Mileage is displayed it's all 888888

Check kick panel fuse for dome 10amp fuse. When mines went out my cluster didnt light up and my car wasnt getting recharged from the alternator. Replaced it and it all works fine now.

wow, blast from the past! forgot I had started this, and it's now fixed.

Turned out the car had the door replaced by the previous owner, and they used a crappy body shop. Somehow messed up some stuff in the drivers kick panel junction boxes
