What's your opinion on this aluminum coolant tank?

Default What's your opinion on this aluminum coolant tank?

I should've posted it on my other thread but figured nobody would bothered reading it again, I found this on e-bay, I just want to get rid of the plastic coolant tank since I can't figure out a way to stop the leak by the sensor, anyways here's the link I hope it works:

i personally do not like surge tanks. it's more of a personal preference thing though. i would rather see a nice square aluminum box with a clear tube on the side than a surge tank...

if you already have a functioning radiator cap, then a surge tank is useless... that's my 2 cents

I'm just trying to eliminate the sensor since it leaks, but thanks for the opinion.

looks like it will work, I had made a custom one that really worked well on my SC400, I think the guy I sold it to has it for sale.

Yes but I can not afford it at the moment, this one is less than half, thanks I'm gonna go for it then.
