Default PS Resevoir Replacement Recommendation

Been having a fine time with my PS system on the SC400. Replaced rack/pump/lines (all lines) and now have a slight whine and shutter. Finally decided to take about resevoir to clean screen and guess what, the screen is broken and only bits and pieces left. I pretty much smashed it prying off the cap plus there is old plastic and rubber in there prone to fall off into the system as well so I'd like to replace. Looked at jegs/summit etc. for universals and most seem to have AN fittings and the adapters are expensive for barbs ($25 for a 90degree -10an to 5/8 since most universals have return line facing down vs. to side like ours). Anyone come across a good replacement. 05 Mustang Moroso looks good etc mounting bracket it is on wrong side and is still about $130 shipped. Autozone had various "motormite" plastic resevoirs, but they have no specs, don't know how i'd mount one since they have slide oem type mounts and don't know if they have internal baffling. I'm hoping someone has done this on an sc400.

you can replace it with another 400 one of a supra turbo reservoir, that would be the easiest.

Well, the only 400 one I've come across is $260, a little high for a tank. I'll look around at supra turbo, i didn't know it had a remote resevoir.

thanks for looking for that, but i probably won't go used given the existing problem is age related and by now all used are old.

if you want factory ---> http://store.driftmotion.com/static/...greservoir.php
try checking with your local toyota dealer also, it may be reasonable. $260 is definately too high.
also they have an aftermarket one for $80 @ driftmotion under home > 1jz and 2jz swap parts > power steering tank
