Exclamation Auto SC3 Chirped Yes

So last night i was pressing a little came to a stop sign and i think i floored it i don't remember was chasing a supra and it chirped when it went in to second gear both wheels it felt like. my car is automatic how did it chirp what caused it ? and how can i make it chirp all the time lol

i dont think they have or make a shift kit for the 98 since its vvti

either, built auto with a stall will get the tires to chirp going into second, did on my NA-T at half throttle

A shift kit has nothing to do with the tranny. If you ever get around to changing your transmission filter, shim the actuators while you're down there, and that'll get your chirpin.

Spring breaking can cause that, solenoid, or the linkage could have binded up for shift pressure.

Vtec....or as mentioned before it could have been a number of other factors.

Swap out to bigger gears and you might be able to chirp all the time...why you would want to though I'm not sure

my friend had a automatic dodge neon, his transmission chirped the tires going into 2nd gear all the time when his trans started going bad, i guess it would slip for a second then catch..

like these two gentlemen understand.. Valve body upgrade is nice but harsh on the motor mounts (unless you go solid or even poly) and a few other components..
