Default Need a description of a "good" IACV

I pulled out my IACV, it was filthy so I cleaned it. I noticed that the plunger didn't budge. I thought this was weird so I took it apart and checked all the bearings and stuff inside and it was nice and clean.
However I noticed that while it was apart, I could push the plunger down, once assembled again, the plunger would not go in or out by pressing on it with my fingers.

I assumed it was some electrical thing but is this how a "good" IACV is supposed to act?

Should the plunger move freely by pressing on it with your fingers when assembled but removed from car?

a good one does not plunge with force
as you noticed when you opened it it spins that is how it goes up and down..

turn your car on let idle and warm up (if you notice small rpm changes good so far)

turn on AC you should see your Idle dropp a bit and then go back up the faster the better. if just drops iacv is bad.
