Lol. Isn't a $200 electronic cut-out, basically an exhaust leak? Just an expensive, fancy, controlled leak...?

An no, it doesn't create a ricer sound, no silly raspiness.

You know what, i will make some videos... =P

Your problem is exhaust leak that can go into the cabin and make you sick.

So... I guess by me not finishing my work last night I did a massive poor mans exhaust mod. I hand tightened the exhaust manifold left out the 2 o2 sensors and didn't connect the rest of my exhaust system and fired up the SC300. I didn't rev it past 1100 rmps because it was too loud. It even scared the little kid across the street.

No, a cut-out basically dumps your exhaust. Typical power gains is near the top of the higher rpm range. Low end to mid range suffers, hence this allows you to use it only while running full throttle.

Your exhaust leak does not dump pressure rapidly enough to do anything to increase performance but only to create a different sound.

"Poor mans mods" and "ghetto rigged" usually makes your car more ghetto. I learned that by spending 20 bucks on LEDs and putting them into a perfectly functional gauge cluster, and guess what it looks awful! It is better to save and spend the money on a good mod instead of half assing it. All I'm saying is if I'm going to jack up my car and unbolt my mufflers it's because I'm putting newer/better mufflers on...

I was charging my battery on the car. The O2 sensors are at the shop and my socket set were at the other house.
