Default Clutch recommedations?

Hello All: Need suggestions on where to purchase a clutch kit for a 93 sc300.
I'm running stock with no plans to upgrade. I did a search and the Centerforce came up a lot. Anyone know what the price is on this? Also, should I go with OEM bearings instead? Thanx.

Centerforce dual friction clutch. You won't be disappointed. Stock like clutch feel but has a lot more grab and holds more power even though you are stock.

If you're stock why not just get an oe Exedy or something? No need for an RPS max aren't those rated at like 440ft/lbs for the street disc version?? Definitely get oem bearings though.

Yo BartleDoo, whats the Exedy run and where online is a good place to check out? Yeah, I've read about the non Oem bearings making sounds. Definately, don't want that.

Yes... depending on the application .... but since he is running stock it will last a damn long time and he won't get much slippage if the op rides the clutch like a banshee

Somewhere between $100 and $200. Just search online for the best price of course. Also be sure you aren't going NA-T anytime in the future because pulling the transmission isn't that fun (maybe because I have done it so many times).

^^^ This!

I have the stage 1 and it feels so great. Only a little heavier than stock with a great feel. Easily holds 1jz power too!

contrary to most, my centerforce had trouble holding past 3rd gear on my car. IDK if it was the clutch or if my fidanza flywheel just didn't agree with it. In any case i swapped it with an ACT XTreme heavy duty clutch with a street disc. Noticeably stiffer than the centerforce, holds great now.

Searched and found this, read it. My question is, for an extremely spirited driver, whats a clutch that can take a beating? I got my OEM one replaced and flywheel resurfaced at about 78k and now at about 104k its already feeling like it doesnt grab as much....any suggestions.

I've asked a similar question and been ignored as well.

Good luck
