Default AEM F/IC 1UZ. Is it worth installing while still N/A?

Well, not too much to ask. Can I have any benefit by installing it right now? I´m going the turbo route (Holset HX40w) but that will take at least two more months and I´ve recently receive the F/IC. If I can get some more HPs I´d like to install it.
What do you think/suggest?

The FIC is a great controller. being able to fine tune even in NA form you will benefit some added power. However you might want to wait until you get the turbo. Are you having it tuned on a dyno? The FIC has a 21x17 tuning map, so you have 357 points between idle and redline to fine tune so id recommend a dyno and an good tuner. Also the FIC is nowhere near a plug and play, it has to be wired in. So in short term wait until you get the turbo. I like HX40 turbos, but id think twice about using one on a 1UZ. Holsets work their magic when they are pushing over 25+PSI. All the power comes at once, and it hits hard.

Thank you so much scmissle! Here I have no dyno and no good tuner either. I´ll have to wait for the turbo install then.
As for the Holset, I´m following Neil´s (from Rush Imports) recommendation. He told me to use this one because it can spool good on low boost and can keep building til redline. He has an HX55 in his silv8 on a stock 1uz with the same auto trans I have. I am not after low grunt because here its very slippy most of the year. I´m after a turbo that not interfere too much on low revs so I can drive it easy as a dd.
