new exhuast concern.. is my new setup safe for my engine?
I have a 2jzgte with stock jdm turbo's.
OLD SETUP: 3inch downpipe all the way to the middle no cats no nothing with a custom Y then to dual 2.25 with 3 inch tips all the way to the back open. that setup felt good and free flowing like boost felt like a neck breaker everything and boosted quick. but very very loud
NEW SETUP: same 3inch downpipe added a 3inch flex to it and connected the stock sc300 catback with the stock dual resonators and stock small piping to my new dual tanabe hyper medalions.
my new setup makes the car very quiet "i like quiet" sounds like a bmw 335 but now the car feels slower and boost does not feel like a neck breaker. yea it does boost still but it just does not feel as powerful as be for.
concern is that is my set ok?. am i restricting the flow of my exhuast too much? is my setup safe?
thanks

^ too a point. Its deff going to feel a lot slower, the stock piping is tiny!. If you like the quiet note sounds like you need a good custom catback with bigger diameter piping and high flow resi's and mufflers. It should sound good, not too loud and your performance wont be as sacrificed.
