I'm becoming discouraged!!!!
What tha hell options are there besides 1 ECU, 2 exhausts, and 3 intakes for the SC400 that actually could make this car impressive. I've seen one too many Supra vids and Twinturbo Z vids whoopin' up on damn near everything on the road. I'm starting to question the decision to leave a Z for an SC4,... any ideas before this car finds itself on the dealer lot? or gets a for sale sign??

keep your panties on and read about FAT. By the end of '02 for less than 3 grand you can give your luxo cuiser some punch. Just remember the second you sell you lex and buy a z you are trading style and class for:

If that is a non intercooled kit and they want it to operate with a roots blower (ie heat machine) on 91 octane then I wouldn't expect that kit to make more than 300 RWHP at BEST.
If I had an SC400 I would just do direct port 160 shot, LSD, and a nice converter. In fact, I really can't understand why more don't do that.
Some day my car will actually be done (IT IS SO F'IN CLOSE) and then I can start working on the V8 car for turbo stuff (at least that is what I want to do).

Don't talk about class and style when you diss another car that has just as much... the Z car has more heritage than ANY lexus ever will; so DON'T go there...
YES listen to ebanks!!! he know what he talkin bout!!!
a Direct Port 160 with all the other stuff would be pretty nasty... mid 12s for sure; hella more power and cheaper than that supercharger kit

I've heard of kits (super and turbo) for the 400 that are supposed to come out the beginning of so and so year, middle of a past year, summer of next year, yadda yadda yadda and many other dates.
I for one am not holding my breath until a video of that beast is shown at the track and another vid of it doing a dyno run.

I'm with SC300TURBO and awj, get a for sale sign, for ten years guys have been saying they've got a kit almost ready, and Ethan's got a great point, a roots blower generates tons of heat as the rotors mesh together, and without an IC, you're gonna be limited to five or six lbs of boost, which is going to net you only around 270-280rwhp (still slow as *****...) and not have much room for upgradeability without diving into major work. As far as bolt-ons, some SC4's do apparently come with a limited slip, but Bean, a 160shot, converter, and LSD won't net you mid 12's, it takes a major hit of juice, a standalone, weight reduction, and a big slick to run low-mid 12's with these whips.

hhehehe
Yes, everyone needs to sell the 400's and get 300's, then turbo them. It's that easy.

Sup, SR? How's Ginger? Jeff, you're personally responsible for my decision to do it. Deb will just have to keep waitin' for that rock! I've decided to drive the SC4 around for a little while longer and enjoy it, and i've set the SC3-T build date to my 30th birthday, as a gift to myself, so that's one year away. I'm looking to make some real numbers though, problem is that I can't see taking a couple weeks off and driving down to Toyomoto for the work, I could order a Stage2 from them, assuming Lance will sell me Stage2+ as a kit, but then there's the matter of finding a good shop with a dyno around here that can get the most out of the Haltech, and i'll have to go with L10's valve body (almost definitely building an automatic), since Lance will only install his. Frankie over at PF told me $12,500 Installed for Stage2 450rwhp stick/440rwhp auto, and the list of parts is nice, i'm tempted to just go with them and get a Lojack . Jeff, tell me what you think brother.

P.S. - Business is so bad right now it's hard to think about spending $40k-plus to build up a turbo SC, but marriage is overrated anyway, riiiiight ???

What's up on your end? I think you need to sell the 400 a little faster.
