Default Unrecircing stock BOV 1j

Since its a MAP motor and not a MAF motor, and I just pull the recirc tube with out any negative repercussions on my 1jzgte? The motor is stock minus an intake, I just like hearing it go hiss hiss when it shifts. I know if you try that with a MAF motor it freak out, but I wasnt sure since this is a MAP motor if the same thing will happen.

don't just pull the recirc. tube. the tube is the pressure side of the BOV and pulling it off would vent boost pressure all the time, which is why a blow-off valve is there in the first place. You would need to unbolt the BOV from the intake side and fab a block-off plate for the mounting flange. You might as well look for a bolt-on BOV or just relocate the BOV altogether, which i highly advise as the stock BOV location sucks.
