Autozone, about $4. You can check the calibration on your TPS in the meantime. YOu will also need a volt meter. Do you have one of those?

Yes, IF you have the fuel pump jumpered at the diagnostic connector, you should be able to hear fuel flowing in the engine bay with the key at the on position.

Alright cool. Thought maybe I had a fuel leak. But I just got done testing the IAC valve and it is alright. Pretty dirty, but operates as specified. I'm about to test the TPS now.

For testing the TPS I suggest finding a computer power connector and shaving down one side of the plastic connector. It will fit perfectly into the TPS sensor. Don't take the throttle body off the car. Set your gauge under the stop screw. Insert your leads into the other side of the power connector and take your readings.

Well the TPS and MAF seem to be alright. Anything else I can try before getting the fuel filter?

Thats good. Did you check the voltages on the MAF. Manual only tells you to check resistance, but there is a way to check feedback voltages to make sure its spitting out to the ECU what it should.

You can check your EGR valve also. Basically the same sort of valve as the IAC. On that one I just undid the screws. Made sure it wasn't stuck and reinserted.

I checked the IAC, MAF, and TPS according to this link: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sc-...on-issues.html

It all checked out, except I couldn't test the MAF with the car running of course. Ill try the EGR valve though.

EGR doesn't look stuck to me. But is there a way to clean it? It is disgusting.

I just wiped mine off. You could pick up some seafoam deep creep. That works pretty good on carbon deposits.

Here is how I did mine. I removed the 3 larger bolts and the 3 smaller phillips screws that are in the vertical position on top. I did not remove the valve from the plenum. Once you get those 6 fasteners out you should be able to see the valve and also be able to turn the valve by hand.

I am not exactly sure how to tell if its stuck open. I just made sure mine moved freely. I think if the valve is extended it is closed. Retracted would be open. I think. Dont quote me on that
