GTE single questions
I had a couple of questions.
Well I'm going to just keep it 440's and before boost cut and get the car running first. then ill upgrade. so on to the next part of questions.
Secondly. there were sensors broke, some that i broke some already broke and etc. i just need a little help with trying to figure out if I'm gonna have to buy these or can i take them off of my 99 vvti ge.
1. the driver side tps sensor on the gte was broke. will one of my ge work?
2. i broke a knock sensor on the gte block. will one off my ge work?
3. i swapped pans with a 1jzgte rear sump and i left my pressure sensor<? on it. i dont think it would have worked with the rear sump any way would it? but can i use the one off my ge? and can it be installed with the pan already on the car? because i already sealed it up thinking i could?
4. on intake side of the block under the intake there is a vacuum thing. that ran to the twins. i know its not needed but it has lines that run to the intake. do i leave it and just cap the 2 little lines on the exhaust side where the heater core nipple is with vacuum caps and call it a day? or can i remove it completly
5. this might be more of preference but i wanted some input. should i run my IAV, on the intake manifold, to my intake pre-turbo? or put a breather filter on it? it seems like a long way to run it to the pre-turbo intake. i would just run it with a filter but i have extra nipples on my pre-turbo intake pipe so i was gonna put them to use.

you can use the ge knock sensors same parts number anyway.
you can just buy a small filter and put it at the iacv ,or you will smell the all that crankcase stuff in your car.
what pressure sensor are you talking about, maybe the oil level sensor!
you can use the ge tps sensor but you will have to do some wiring.

Ok so the oil level sensor you can reuse the GE on you need one from a rear Sump Pan anyway so you are good to go.
You don't need to remove the oil pan to install the oil level, it's have (4) 10mm bolt that holds the sensor to the upper pan.
It's easy no worries.
