Yeah I already checked those. The EFI relay is triggering on I can feel it. And that is why I have my b+12V at the diagnostic port. For some reason though the B+12v is not at the ignitor or coil plugs though.

She's alive! Loose plug at IJ1 was the culprit for why my voltage was missing. Only had to change 1 setting in MS for it to fire up (Single Coil to Wasted Spark).

Yeah, pretty happy with it. Jumpered R109 on the tach today, so now it works again.

What a gem this thread is, thank you.

I've read it twice, yet found no mention of what plug gap to use with this system?

I have my gap set at .022 right now for starters. We'll see as time goes on how that changes.

Ali sc3 ya told me to reply here, well I have a question with this, if I install the UDSM tt ecu can i also install the FSmoto FFIM for the 2jzge without any problem? or what if i fit a 2jzGTE style IM but with a 2jzgte style IAC valve... do i need to repin anything in the harness to make it work?

you can run a FFIM with the gte ecu it doesn't change any wiring except if you use a different throttle body you will have to get a tps adapter to keep the toyota TPS or wire up the tps if its a Q45 one. mustang tps I think only works with standalone you would need an adapter. I think that kit comes with the adapter so no rewire should be needed.

all the 2jzge and 2jzgte IACV valves have the same connector no need to rewire or extend, just unwrap the harness under the spark plug cover area and peel back the IACV wires normally on exhaust side to where you need it to reach on the intake side, same with tps, and then re-wrap and put plug cover back on, nice and easy.

The fox body 5.0 TPS will work with the stock ECU. I'll be running one on my setup so I've researched the heck out of it. Wiring is one of the two depending on your harness (only difference is ground, signal and voltage are the same) and you only use 3 of the 4 wires that may be present.

Toyota --- Ford
Yellow = Green (tps signal)
Blue/red = Orange (+5v)
White/Blk = Black (- ground)

Yellow = Green (signal)
Blue/red = Orange (+5v)
Brown/Blk = Black (ground)

golden information here from both of you guys Ali and SCereal

I will buy an intake with the GTE upper plenum welded to my GE lower plenum and use a GTE throttle body with GTE iac valve as well as extended the wires then.

I just bough an r154 yesterday, so hyped!!

Don't forget to get the check valve for your IACV if you dont have one already in your upper plenum or dont come with your IACV. You can get the valve, gasket and spacer from a dealer (Elmhurst) pretty reasonably.

If you're going to run a GTE throttlebody, just use the toyota TPS off the GTE (GE is different, goes other way) and save yourself the hassle of wiring up anything else. Might need to swap throttle cables too. V6 camry is popular but the v8 landcruiser is even longer for the custom FFIMs.

Check valve goes in the hole in the flange. There should be a little lip to hold it in place. The iacv bolts to the outside and holds it all in place.

got ya! i know exactly what you are talking about SCereal, well now that i took a look at the intake.

Ali or SC, what piggyback do you guys recommend with the TT ecu mod? i wana run 725 cc injectors but im debating on what piggyback i should get

I'm thinking about the map ecu 3 or the greddy ultimate emanage... any ideas?

EDIT**

what about injectors? do i need to change to low impedance injectors with resistor box since I am going to TT ecu ? Currently have Boost Logic 525cc injectors for Na-T
