Rebuilding a 92 SC 300
Hello everybody. I'm new to this forum. I'm rebuilding a sc300. Put in a new short block, wheels, all new a/c, slotted brakes, new paint job, lights, emblems, etc, etc. All done at home by yours truly. Came out great! Next is new interior and I'll have a "new" 92 sc 300. Two questions though. What is the correct transmission fluid to use (it is a 5 speed stick) and it is very notchy from 1st to 2nd until it warms up. I changed all the fluids and there I used 90w oil. Is there something recommended here? Second, the a/c is supper cold but the compressor is on all the time below 84f setting and off above that. No matter the temperature outside. Changed compressor, evaporator, condenser, lines, and temperature probe. Any help on these subjects appreciated. If I can be of any help let me know.

Welcome aboard!!! Post some pix of your work and stuff. Those are always cool to see.
As for the tranny fluid, its all preference. A lot of guys here would say Redline, Royal Purple, Lucas or just go to the dealer and buy what they recommend.
