Battery, or startup issue.
As most of you might know i am in the process of replacing my waterpump and timing belt right now. Well i spent the last 4 days trying to figure out a way too get off the crankshaft pulley bolt, i finally got around too the idea of trying the bump starter idea. And as i go too try this my battery seemed dead? When i put the key in you can hear the beeping from the dashboard but no lights come on and no turn over. I've had it on the charger for maybe 6 hours now and no change. In fact it wont even pop my trunk or gas tank. Ugh this waterpump replacement is turning into a 2 week project, any help would be much appreciated! Thank you.

Left the trickle charger on over night, nothing happened. And im 99% sure it is not the battery since its brand new, and the dash beeps. Though i did just get new after market taillights, and after i installed them is when i noticed the battery wasn't working. Doubt that could effect though right?

you should try to jump it. a battery being new does not necessarily mean its any good, they can fail under many conditions including when they are drained completely by accident. a trickle charger typically will not be enough to get a full fire after a complete drain. If it doesn't turn over with a jump then you can go on.
what you described is exactly what happened to me with a good battery that got fully drained after I left my inverter on overnight. I tried the trickle charger for a day and it hardly was enough charge to move the crank. new battery and she fired right up.

Well i just figured it out! Took off the fuse box top under the hood, turns out 2 fuses were dead. Changed em wala! AND on top of that the bump the starter idea poped the bolt loose! good day!
