Default R154 for $700?

It only has 72,000 miles on it.

I've seen these on ebay for a lot more, and this seems like a good deal to me. I'm going to take a look at it later today.

Too good to be true, perhaps?

Well I paid 5 for mine came with some extra stuff too, Id say do it at least around my area you cant really find any and if you do there gone in a second.

Try talking him down as well.

you could get the Solstice R145 or AX5 or what ever they call it, for a lot less and it would be a lot better transmission, although it would take some mods to make it work but your end result will be better.

ive seen people sell these for 400-500, i agree with trying to talk him down.

the average r154 in florida goes for 5-700 in ok condition. 700 is a good deal

700 with JZ bellhousing is a good deal. R154s with 7M bells tend to go in the 300-500 range.

I hope they get cheaper with time, that's my plans too, but 700 isn't too bad it could be worse with more mileage

I hear a lot about r154's making a lot of noise in 1st & 2nd gear. Is there an issue that causes this, or are they just noisy transmissions?
