Swap or clean out?
alright,so my head gaskets are done with. I need some advice and seriously i dont want no bullshyt comments like other people with no lives put up.
Should i resurface the heads and replace the gasket, fix the exhaust leak and other small problems which would probably cost me lets see, about almost a little over a grand from what people have told me or get a new engine with a 5 speed swap as well? either a original 2jzge from the sc, 1jzgte or a 2jzgte (aristo or any you recommend). Also i heard theres a possibility of swapping a 2jz tt legally in cali, how is that possible?

id just fix what you have unless the miles are ridiculous on it..
just for the simple fact you KNOW what you have right now and what the issues are..you might get a swap with a whole new bag of problems..
and since your estimating a 1000 to fix everything thats nothing compared to what you'll spend buying a swap and getting it running in the car..just something to consider.
