Dude. Please pleAse listen when I tell you it's the ECU. I'm 100% it's the ECU.

Look up my thread I had the same issue's ur haveing.

I'm not trying to bs with members but I've been threw this that is why I know it's the ECU.

I'll make suggestions if I'm not sure but like I said I'm 100% sure.

That's my advise take it for good or nonsense. Hope you fix your ride. By changing the BAD ECU.

Make sure you don't drive it far or rev it too much untill you change the bad ecu and oil/filter.

It's the ECU, I couldn't find an 92 ECU, would a 94' SC300 ECU work on my 92?

The on mine is 89661 24332

would a 89661 24313 or 89661-24310 or 89661 24311 work?

bump, if anyone could tell me if an ECU off of an 93' or 94' would work, it would be greatly appreciated. The guy at the shop is like searching for an exact 89661 24332, but would it really matter as long as its an ECU for the 2JZ-GE?

I'm looking an ECU's on ebay from a 93 and 94, but unsure if it would work, which were the serial numbers in my previous post

As long as the ecu U install on the is for a 2jz Ge it will work.

You can use a Supra Na, Gs300, as long as they are OBD1. Any 92-95 ecus will function properly.

Check ur injectors, exhaust leak maybe, blown head gasket and check if theres water in your engine oil cap, could also be a misfire. I am just going through this exact problem myself.

Any update on this?

I'm running into almost the exact same issue. 94 SC300 w/ 150k

Smokes some white at idle, pours out tons under throttle, even spits some kind of liquid. Smells like gas but not positive since the entire exhaust smells like gas.

Tried changing plugs #2 looked slightly different, tried resetting ECU, Took ECU apart and there were no obviously leaky capacitors although there was a strange smell, and tried flushing coolant and using HG Stop leak. No change.

Ordered a used ECU from a salvage yard for $60, going to try it out when it gets here and see if there's any change.

Thanks!

A simple $5 test light can determine if an ecu's holding an injector open or not.....diode test light set is more accurate though.

Another ECU showing up today .. Will advise. There is definitely gas in the oil. Oil/filter change is mandatory.

Ok guys. Definitely the ECU. Took two rounds on Ebay to get a good one but problem is resolved. Thanks guys for all of your input. Saved me some serious cash. White smoke with fuel smell are the tell tale signs.
