Default Soarer auto tranny and VSS

Guys,

Last chance to find the problem before I have to give up and send it to my mechanic at $90/hour

Singled 1jz with soarer tranny/ECU. Speedometer isn't working. VSS has been replaced. Can't see any wiring issues.

What could the problem be?

It doesn't seem as though anyone else has had this issue with their swap. My tach works, just no speedometer. Anyone?

Hey i had the same problem when i installed my Na-T Setup in my SC400 my tack wasn't working so i swappped the SC4 Cluster to a 300 and jump R109.
My speedometer wasn't working till i changed the connector to goes to the speed sensor and the problem was fix.
Does the connectors make good contact to the sensors?
So did you swap the SC4 tranny to the Soarer 1JZ trans?
If you did , you must have a wiring issue....
I really wish you were local to me , because we will figure it out.

I was told the 1JZ and SC400 tranny do not go together, so that I would have the Soarer tranny... Thoughts? The swap was done prior to my ownership by Snap.

Which connector did you change?

Yeah man, me too... I hate bringing it somewhere that has no idea about these motors. There is one guy in town that knows about them, but some people have questioned his shadiness...

After speaking with Ross at Dynosaur (Snap I guess) he told me that they use the Soarer tranny and not the SC400 tranny.

So what then would be involved with the wiring?
