I saw this ad on craigslist for a xs power turbo kit and was wondering if you guys think this deal is worth it or not. I haven't contacted the seller yet. I wanted your opinion first. I have a 92' SC300 W58.

i think so..the xs kit goes for 1749 i believe on clubna-t but i think thats without the IC piping a cheaper BOV and IC(although its bigger its not spearco)..no headstuds or gaskets..so yea imo its worth it.

LOL - that's the smallest FM intercooler I have ever seen! Looks more like a tranny cooler I think the sidemounts are even bigger than that.

Answer - no. I would put one together yourself.

Wow that a good deal, I'm emailing him to jump on this deal... JK!! It is a good deal but I would still try to low ball him saying you can get the kit for like 1500 or something.

So if I actually do go through with this kit, should I opt out for a different intercooler instead? I am shooting for a ~400-450 hp daily driver. I am also getting a R154 tranny from a buddy of mine.

I am not sure what route to go with for tuning yet.

That intercooler should be fine for you goals. Overall it looks like a pretty good deal, as that kit comes with a few extras.

Which route should i go with for tuning? Would an AFC be good enough for my goals or should i just save up for a standalone?

well obviously standalone is better. Basically, i was just wondering how much power an afc could handle up to.

I'm not talking about any time of engine management. Buying turbo parts off craigslist is a recipe for disaster.
