went single and need help with the downpipe
finally have the car up and running with the single turbo. i went to different muffler shops to get a downpipe put on. well lets just say i got tired after shop #8. I decided to get a funny looking downpipe installed (really bad job). Not the best but hey the car is quiet again. Now for the question. did you guys buy the driftmotion, ebay, etc... how is the fitting for those downpipes? and how much modification did you need to make it work? or did you just go to a muffler shop?

my xspower (pretty much the ones on ebay) fits like a glove for my 2j na-t single turbo.
IMO the aftermarket ones aren't worth it unless you are talking about the 4" setup and then by all means get the legit one. 1000x times better than your local muffler shop that thinks exhaust putty is a viable way to cover bad welds.

Other then the ebay stuff, I'd visit legitimate speed shops/fab shops for your downpipe rather then basic exhaust shops. They'll be able to handle your situation without issue(even if it is to modify the ebay setup you buy).
