Default 1jz fuel management....not finding good info

I cant find any good info on map ecu's,reprogrammed/re-flashed etc. for the 1jz.

I have 550's and I just want a simple user friendly fuel control system.

Is there a place i can send my ecu to and have them re-map it for 550's? My friend with a sr20 sent his ECU to enthalpy and told him his setup. got the computer back plugged it up and it ran perfect.

Where can i get info on map ecu's. different companies and prices.

What do you guys think about running an AFC since 550's arent that big.

like I said Ive searched but cant find no good info for the 1jz
(not interested in Emanage)

Nobody does reflashes on Toyota ECU's. Theyre too advanced. If I were you I'd get an AEM standalone, or I've heard good things about the Stinger (I think that's what it's called) from MKIII guys. AFAIK, the AEM is the best one though.

garbage..SAFC2/Neo, Map ECU2, or standalone. I would suggest the MAFT Pro that I have cause it can be used in an afc mode and you define timing unlike the safc will pull timing with no user control, but not sure how the MAFT Pro would work on a MAP based engine.

I'm leaning towards AFC. Ive used one on my dsm and there pretty cheap. I probably would be alright for a little bit with it. Do you think they would do ok with 550's, 255 pump, and stock fuel pressure regulator

Standalone is best, but if you are going to choose a piggyback, buy the AEM FI/C.

I cant get my car running right with this E Manage. So i'm thinking about put my stock injectors back in the 1j to see how the car runs. But i have that resistor box wired in my injector harness(soldiered). I'm assuming putting my stock injectors in with the resistor box will be a problem?
