Default I feel like a huge noob

But can someone please give me the location and a little info on how to change the ignition coil pack on the drivers side?

The coil pack is right in the very front of the engine right below the Lexus Emblem. Its really easy to find if you go buy the part first and look at the part in your hand and then locate the same thing on your engine.

I was looking right at it haha just didn't know what I was looking for! Anyways, I figured it out a couple of days ago and have all the stuff purchased....However, now I think I have bigger issues...see my new thread rod knock

Well if you were trying to change the driver's side pack it sounds like you found the wrong one. The driver's side coil pack is down between the bottom of the battery and the engine. It's right above the AC compressor. Hope that helps.
