Default torque converter install

Does this tc seem to be completely seated? Ive try spinning and pushing for a while and it wont go any further so i thought id ask.

It doesn't look like it is in properly to me... All the times I have done it they have gone back in further. I am certainly not a mechanic, nor do I claim to be one

Understood. Ive tried to wiggle and turn for a while and it just wont go in any further. The flange for the bolts are in more than the front of the bell housing. This is a auto tt tranny by the way.

If you look at my bolt, its pretty short so it cannot go too far.

check the distance (width) if the flywheel. if the engine and tranny bolts up together then you're usually ok.

Its way easier if you are able to turn the transmission vertically anyways here is a picture from the service manual.
