Default Skyrocketing temperature needle.

My temperature needle sky rockets to the max every time I start the car. I start the car and the needle immediately starts to rise until it can rise anymore.

Anyone know how to fix this? Obviously, the needle is not displaying accurate results. If it were, my engine would've blown a long time ago.

it sounds similar to a problem most 1JZ owners have. You need to get a wiring diagram and check the ground to the gauge itself. If the ground is gone it will peg past the H mark till it hits the side of the gauge.
