From my understanding from other various thread as well as the first post that Cleanshot posted here, you can use the front half of the driveshaft from an MKIII as well right?

If I do use the MKIII driveshaft for the R154 swap, I would have to just swap the center bearing from the SC300's auto driveshaft am I correct? Clarifications please.

Yes mk3 front half for R154 in the SCXXX, use the SC300 carrier bearing ..and sc300 rear half.

I have never used MK3 W58 front half, I didn't wanna take that chance in case it doesn't work...

^^^Mk4 driveshaft will not work i know this, because i put both driveshafts side by side and the SC300 driveshaft is longer. the SC wheelbase is longer than the MK4 supra that answers alot of questions right there.

Ok, thanks. I'll just sell this MK4 DS and pick up that SC one.

Is your car a right or left hand drive?

I don't think you can use a right hand drive pedal in left hand drive car..specially the clutch pedal but don't quote me on that.

I thought they would use the same part as toyota since the soarer is the same as the sc300/400, and the sc300 came with manual shift from the factory.

my car is left hand drive (when i buy it) sc400.

I suppose the obvious solution is to just buy an sc300 clutch pedal and master.

Interesting thread,
But im wondering if anyone knows exactly what parts do i need to do a swap from a w58 to r154.
My car is already a 5spd, w58 installed, but i want to go with the r 154 since the w58 wont be able to handle the gte swap.
I already have the r154 tranny with the mk3 fron DS.
Can anyone here tell me exactly what parts do i need to get it done.

Thanks
