Default VVTI Head Swap

I know everyone is gonna get all pissy and give me the "SEARCH SEARCH SEARCH" responses but I'm going to ask anyway, because I did search through quite a few pages of threads and didn't find anything useful.

Has anyone here done a VVTI head swap from a 97+ sc onto a 92 sc?
I'm sure someone has to have tried it, but I can't find threads so any links would be appreciated.

I'm going to buy the whole VVTI head, the coils, the wire harness, and then I still need to find a VVTI ecu to purchase, is there anything else anyone can think of that I would need in order to make this swap work? For example extra sensors or new sensors etc etc.

Sorry yea it's going on a 300, and to quickgs300, you have actually done this swap? How hard was it wiring wise? And are there any other parts besides the ones I listed that I'm getting above that you found you needed when you did your swap?

Also how long did it take you to do the swap approx?

First you will need a standalone to do this mod, or the TT ecu but it will be more wiring.
It's a 1 day job if you have all the parts in front of you, but you know it doesn't always happen like that.
You will need these parts
TT oil pump
TT cam sensor
TT crank sensor
TT crank gear
TT cams
VVTi coils and Ignitor or even Mitsubishi 3000GT ignitor it has the same output as the VVTi one and even better.
VVTi head uses one cam sensor and AEM only need to see one.
TT intake cam has to be machine to fit the VVTi head, but the exhaust side will work fine without modification.
You need TT cams because you can't control the VVTi With AEM, but if you use an EMS that can control VVTi then you won't need no TT cams.
You to use the VVTi valve covers because the intake side VC is different,You will need to shield the wires that you will run from the cam sensor to the old distributor wire were you tie into the cam and crank sensor.
The old distributor plug connector has 4 wires , cams, crank, and ground.

I will do a write up on this hopefully by the week end with some better pictures.

I'm going NA-T eventually, but for now I'm NA til I can save up enough money to buy all the parts for doing the turbo build at once.
