Default Cork Gasket

I know Toyota uses FIPG to seal their tanks, but has anyone used to the cork gasket that comes with some transmission filters? The reason why I'm asking is because the local dealer here does not have fipg in stock and I ran out so I was thinking about using the cork gasket that came with the filter. How they run out of fipg is beyond me lol

Thanks man, yeah I agree they probably didnt run out...............do you remember what color the fipg was when you took the pan off? I always thought that the oil pan fipg was black, the one on my pan is orange.

What are your thoughts on using some gasket sealer and the cork gasket?
