Default 95 sideview mirror on a 92 SC400

The problem I'm having is, I bought a 95 side view mirror used for a 92 SC400. When I put it in, it does not work properly.
It moves ^^up & <<left
but wont move >>right & down.
Also my right side mirror only operates in one direction now.
My original mirror from the car worked fine mechanically, the problem I had with it was the base got broken & it wont fold properly. I checked the fuses & the mirror ECU and they're fine. This is really strange & I wanted to know if the 92 & 95 mirrors were interchangeable. Ive checked for this on previous threads but it was not the same situation as mine so I beg whom ever knows the answer, please give me a hand.
Thank you.

I bought the mirror on EBAY, the guy that sold it advertised that it was off a 95 SC. Im still trying to contact them for a refund.

That's what im thinking. But it's strange that with the used mirror on the car, both mirrors don't work properly.

Its weird how time flys...
fast forward to 2017 im in a similar situation again. I bought another used mirror for my 92 but the replacement mirror is from a 97, the plugs are indeed different. Is it possible to make a 97 mirror work in a 92 SC?

It requires hacking up the wiring harness to make a '96-00 side mirror fit a '92-95 car or vice versa. Someone did that on my '98 instead of sourcing a proper auto-dimming mirror, which is what the extra wiring is for on the newer ones.

Here's what the aftermath of wiring a non-dimming mirror into my '98 looked like:

Fortunately, they hacked up the mirror side of the wiring, not the body harness side, so it was plug 'n play once I found the proper replacement.
