Default rebuilding a Differential

I'm looking for a DIY on how to rebuild a SC differential

Ehh....rebuilding a diff is generally not considered to be within the skill and/or tool range of your average DIY'er. Not saying it can't be done, but it ain't typical. No disrespect, but to be honest, I would expect that someone with the proper skills probably wouldn't need to ask for a DIY in the first place.....just sayin!

Yeah, we all have to start somewhere-but not with a diff, lol. Seriously, if you're going to attempt this job, make sure you have some extra cash to fix what you may mess up? Good luck, keep us posted.

rebuilding requires some good measuring tools to measure gear meash and run out, and shims if needed, gets $$ if you dont measure right since its directly related to what shims you need,

Thanks guy .

I'm thinking about upgrading to an LSD and rebuilding my stock one or if I cant come across an LSD just buying a used stock oem one.
