Why arent my motor mounts working in my 99 SC300?
Here's what I'm doing...
2jzgte Aristo (non VVTi) swap into a 99 SC300 with VVTi.
My problem:
Ive tried the motor mounts from both motors.
If I use the mounts that were on the GE (short mounts), the motor wants too sit crooked. I even tried swapping the mounts around.
If I try the mounts that came with the Aristo motor(long mounts), they're just too long for the mounting points on the cross member.
Is there a design difference in the 99-00 motor mounts or is it because the car had a VVTi motor in it?
The pics I included are of the mounts that were on the VVTi motor I pulled out. They are installed on the Aristo motor.
I'm posting this on Club NA-T as well, I really need too get this figured out.
Thanks guys
