Can I route this hose to vent to where I have it drawn to?

Hey Chris what did you do with the other vac line? I think Im gonna do this right now just wondering if you capped it or what you did.

umm, I honestly dont remember..Ill have to check tomorrow and let you know..BUT IIRC it was attached to the EGR hard lines, so it was just disconnected and removed

Nice what side effects of removing the canister might happen? Its really the only spot for my catch can.

do not cap it, it is the vent for the gas tank. If you cap it pressure will build up in the fuel tank. If you notice after the canister is removed you dont get the "psssh" from opening the gascap when you fillup.

Vent it to ouside of the car, otherwise youll notice the smell of gas fumes in the car. Its also a good idea to put a check valve on the hose so it that allows air out but not in.

^^^Id like to know also i have mines removed at the moment. Im swapping in a gte and will not be having the egr so it would be great to remove this.

Just took out the charcoal canister and installed my catch can. Look for my oil can thread..about to update it in a few. The vac line from the canister is gonna be capped and the other line was joined with a universal fitting and vented the same spot turbodremz did his.

edit: I might use the spare vac line for my boost gauge..im not sure yet though.
