If I have the Round diagnostics hookup in my 1995 sc400, does that mean there is no OBDII port in another location? Bob

obd II with the DLC(data link connector) are equipped on 96 and later-newer vehicles. 95 and earlier are ODB1.. I think I read somewhere that some of our SC's OBD1 has a DLC connector but never got confirmation..

On our SC's with the obd1 there are 2 ways to access the diagnostic ports
. Under your steering column like you mentioned and theres a Diagnostic port under the hood.

yours is not OBD II. The connector you're looking at is made for toyota based diagnostic tools. It should also have the standard OBD port somewhere under the round port. (looks like a bunch of pins in a trapezoid shape). IDK which years had the standard OBD DLC connector, but im sure yours does.
