okay guys. so my first problem was high rpm bouncing/looping from 1500-2000 rpm continuously in park and neutral. in gear the car would idle very high at around 1500 without the looping. without my foot on the pedal the car would accelerate on it's own up to 25 mph. so i cleaned my iacv, and changed my thermostat, and flushed my coolant because i knew that my thermostat was stuck due to the easy overheating that i've been noticing. after changing and cleaning these parts the car idled perfect. didn't have any looping, idles on cold start ups at 1000 and when warm 500-700. the next day the looping and high idle returned even when the car was warm. sometimes it would idle fine sometimes not. so the problem comes and goes now. and i also notice that when driving on the freeway if i let my feet off the gas pedal the car slows down dramatically. it doesn't feel normal. kinda scary too. and the car still does accelerate by itself sometimes usually when high idle. idk the problem comes and goes. could it be the ecu?? maybe the ecu is retarted????

Check your vacuum lines (contracted when they are cold, heated up, they expand and show leaks), check your fuel filter, just change it anyway. I doubt its the cats, but could be.
