Default How can you tell which psi spring is really in the wastegate?

My wastegate is an OBXRacing and it said that it came with the 8.** psi spring in it and that the other 2 colors(they are the same damn color) were 14 and 17. Now one of the 2 is super soft and easy to compact with my hands..then again ive got huge hands. But yea back to the question..How can i know for sure which psi spring ive got in the wastegate? Thanks in advance to anyone who chimes in on this.

edit: i just found out it came with a 14psi spring in it.

you can put positive pressure via a small pump and see when the wastegate opens

^^ you can try that if you've got some way to hook it up to compressed air w/ a gauge too. Otherwise, I'd try calling the company who made it for clarification of the spring colors.

I just checked the receipt and i clarified for myself that it comes with a 14.75ish psi spring in it and then of the 2 i have to play with, one is super hard and the other is super soft so its obvious which the 8.75ish one and thats the one i need.

P.S. to take the wastegate apart to change springs, i remove all of the hexagonal screws or octagonal around the wastegate then the top one with the vacuum fitting right?

Just do the install. Measure the spring rates by the seat of your pants
