1jz - Max/Min Oil temp/Pressure readings
Hey guys! im setting the alarms on my gauges. so i know if somethings wrong. So i need to know:
Minimum operating oil temperature
Maximum operating oil temperature - will set off alarm if i go over
Minimum operating oil pressure
Maximum operating oil pressure - will set off alarm if i go over

I'm just throwing out a figure (never been backed up) but:
Min oil pressure 25psi, Max oil pressure 70psi.
When I start my car after a night of it sitting there it zooms up to 80psi then it takes about 5 minutes to settle around 40, then after I drive it for a few minutes it sits at 20...ish.

alright. sooo defffinently my sending unit is the wrong one (the one i got with my gauges was broken so i got one for a gmc..) because at idle it reads 90psi, when im driving it reads 30-40ish.. so its reading backwards.
what about temp?
